Chinese massage therapists are becoming a hot commodity in the booming tech industry.
Now a new study by a British consulting firm suggests that massage therapy salaries can be up to 50 times more than the typical $10 an hour.
The report, which was presented to the Shanghai Sex Industry Association in July, also suggests that the average salary for a massage therapist in China is between $2.50 and $4.50 an hour, which could be up around $20,000 a year.
“While massage therapy is not a traditional profession, it is not that expensive,” says David Williams, a former massage therapist and CEO of British consulting company Williams-Sonoma, who is currently in China.
“I can’t think of a more valuable industry in the world right now.”
The report was funded by the UK government’s Chinese Association for Sexual Health (CAISHE), a non-profit group that provides free services to Chinese women in need.
The group has seen a surge in activity in recent years, and in May it launched a “national awareness campaign” that includes posters and leaflets in Chinese cities.
CAISHE is also launching a national service called the “Hot Mandarin” in which the group is providing free services for massage therapists.
According to the report, China has around 60,000 massage therapists working in a country with one of the world’s highest per capita GDPs.
There are now over 2,000 licensed massage therapists in China, according to Williams-Sonsoma.
The median salary for an adult in China currently stands at $5,500.
But the report also found that the salaries of some massage therapists can be higher than the average in other countries.
The report found that in 2016, for example, an average massage therapist earned $9,600.
In the US, for instance, an annual salary for massage therapist is about $31,400.
In China, however, massage therapists may be earning between $3,200 and $7,500, the report said.
However, according the report’s authors, the average massage therapy salary in China “is very low compared to other parts of the developing world.”
The average salary in Russia was only $3.20 an hour in 2016.
The US was also found to have a median massage therapist salary of $6,600, which is about 25% higher than China.
On top of the lower wages, some massage therapy positions are extremely low-paying, and the group also found some jobs that are often unprofitable, such as those in hospitals and private clinics.
A new study published in the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology shows that in China there are around 100,000 therapists in the country.
The majority of them work in hospitals, and a majority of these jobs are not lucrative.
This means that the median salary of a massage therapy therapist in the state of China, in 2016 was just $7 an hour compared to the US median of $15 an hour and Japan’s $27.40 an hour per hour.
But the report found “a high degree of heterogeneity” between the jobs and the pay in the massage therapy field.
For example, a massage therapists salary in the Chinese government-run hospitals could be higher or lower depending on their location, and also on their experience, according Williams-sonoma.
It is not just massage therapists who are being paid in excess of the global average.
An average massage technician salary in Singapore is around $7.70 an hour but that is only because it is the highest paid field in Singapore, according CAISHER.
Williams-Sonomas study also found high pay levels for those who work in private clinics, as well as in clinics run by the Chinese Association of Medical Examiners (CAMI), which is also a nonprofit.
CAISHER, in its report, said that in 2017 there were 3,976 private clinics in the entire country of China.
This is just under half the number of clinics in Japan.
However the report notes that while the Chinese are not only working in clinics, but also in other jobs, some private clinics are also profitable.
At the end of the day, the research points to an over-reliance on Chinese massage therapy services, and this can lead to high pay.

In fact, it was worth about $5 million. ]
