My wife of more than a decade wants to go to a massage parlor in her home state of Florida, but she’s also worried about the reaction to her claims that she was sexually assaulted by a man she met online.
In an interview with the New York Times, Amy, who requested anonymity, said she was shocked when she was told she was being accused of assaulting her husband and that her case was being handled by a “male-dominated” agency.
“I was like, Oh, no.
That’s so weird,” Amy told the newspaper.
“You don’t do that.”
Amy’s attorney, Michael Zielinski, said Amy’s wife, a lawyer in New York City, was contacted by a company called Luscious Spa, a massage business owned by a former business partner.
Lusious Spa did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“We are appalled that this kind of behavior is tolerated by a human resources agency that does not have a clear set of standards or guidelines for its workers,” Zielinksi told the Times.
“The whole experience was so traumatizing and traumatic, it has led to a tremendous amount of stress for Amy.”
Amy, a registered nurse, met her husband, Kevin, in 2014 while working as a nurse in her hometown of Miami Beach, where she had a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
She began dating him at the time and moved to Florida in the summer of 2015.
After their wedding, they married in October 2016.
According to the Times, a video of their wedding day showed Amy and Kevin having sex in their bedroom, which was not part of the wedding plans.
They then shared the video with a woman, who said she had an acquaintance in Miami who could provide them with a massage, and later told Amy that she could have sex with her.
She said that she thought it was a “wedding gift” and told her it was ok because they were married, according to the newspaper, which did not identify the woman.
In the video, Amy says the woman asked if she wanted to go on a date and the two went to a bar together.
Amy told her story to the New Yorker, which published it in November.
On Dec. 16, Amy’s husband and a friend met the woman and shared the videos.
Afterward, they drove to a resort in Florida where they had sex, according a report in the New Republic, which reported that Kevin had told Amy he was getting married and would be taking a new wife.
In March 2017, Kevin’s friend and Amy’s boyfriend were arrested in Miami Beach after police said the two had sex with the woman there, according the newspaper and other reports.
Kevin and Amy, the newspaper reported, were charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault.
They both pleaded not guilty and were released on $25,000 bail.
They were scheduled to appear in court in Miami on Monday, the Times reported.
According the Times’ report, Kevin was not charged in the case and the woman was not identified.
Amy, meanwhile, told the New Jersey Daily News that she has a new job and is “not angry” at the people who are making her life difficult.
“They are hurting me,” Amy said.
“So I’m not angry.
They are hurting my family.
It’s a bad situation for them.
I’m going to have to keep working, and I’m definitely not going to leave my job.”
The Times reported that Lusentials spa did not respond to requests for comment and the company did not return a request to comment for this story.
Amy is currently seeking $10 million in damages from Lusources.
“It’s very sad to hear that someone would hurt their own family, but it is not their fault,” Amy wrote on the website of her lawyer.
“There is no justification for the kind of treatment that they are receiving.”
A spokesperson for Lususes spa, which has offices in the Miami area, did not directly respond to questions about the case.
“Luscious’s staff are dedicated to providing our clients with a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, and we have no tolerance for this type of behavior,” Zialinski told the NYT.
