Massage pad is on top of the trend in the massage industry, as new orders from customers are outpacing back massagers orders.
Massage Pad’s orders increased by 5.5% in the first quarter from the prior quarter, according to a statement from the company.
That’s a far cry from back massagemaking, which was down by 5% in Q1 from the same period a year ago.
The company’s biggest challenge is that people have gotten used to massagers and the massage mats, and there’s a bit of a disconnect between the two.
Massagers were still the most popular brand among customers, but this year’s growth is likely to be slower, as consumers are more used to the feeling of massaging on a cloth.
The company says it expects to make more changes to the massager than the back massaging because they’ve been too slow to adapt.
It also says it will continue to invest in the back massage mat, which is a very popular option for women.
“With the introduction of the new Massage mat, we are seeing the market shift towards massage mats and we see our customers coming back to us,” the company said.
“This is the time to expand the range of products, which will allow us to grow faster.”
The company says the new pad, which it is calling Massage Gel, is made with 100% natural ingredients and offers up to 20 minutes of massage.
The product is sold at retail stores and at massage centers nationwide.
